True or False: Regulation Statements

Crypt Node says to be owned by Crypt-Node Europe, based in Lithuania. Furthermore, the broker claims to be “an authorized company” without further specifications on this matter. Since Lithuania is quite known for loose financial regulations and many money-laundering accusations, we were not impressed to see a headquarters in this country. And not just that, it turns out that Crypt Node is not authorized by the Bank of Lithuania or any Tier1 EU license provider, such as BaFin, AMF, FSMA, etc.

Why Is It Important For A Broker To Be Licensed?

A broker must be licensed to prove its legitimacy and ensure that clients’ funds are kept in segregated accounts and that clients can be reimbursed if a problem occurs. For instance, Crypt Node claims to keep clients’ funds in reputable UK banks. Since they remained vague on this matter as well, we believe it’s just a story to lure clients into a scam.

To add to the foregoing, we strongly advise you to ignore brokers such as CryptwiseCTsolutions, and CFD Capital.

Traders Reviews of Crypt Node

Instead of us talking, here’s an example of Crypt Node reviews.

“I foolishly invested £200 and after that was pestered all the time! Remotely took over my laptop! I immediately changed all my passwords etc. Won’t leave me alone. Abusive messages which I have kept.”

What Platforms Does Crypt Node Offer? – Available Trade Software

The trading company offers MT4 and WebTrader. This would be quite a solid offer if the broker weren’t illicit.

AnyDesk, TeamViewer, and ScreenLeap – Access To Your Bank Account

Crypt Node Desktop Access Software

If you take a look at the broker’s main page, you will notice links to download AnyDesk, TeamViewer, and ScreenLeap. All three are remote desktop access software, and account managers are abusing them to access clients’ devices and online banking. It seems that’s precisely what happened to the customer who wrote the comment above.

MetaTrader4 Platform

MetaTrader4 is one of the best trading software this industry has. The platform has many charts and indicators and provides everything you need for successful trading. However, since Crypt Node is not a regulated brokerage, it provides unregulated trading conditions, heavily impacting the outcome of your trades.

WebTrader Platform

Crypt Node WebTrader is a typical web-based software suitable for beginners and those who avoid app installation. However, it comes with the same unregulated trading conditions as MT4.

Crypt Node Unfavorable Trading Conditions

The company cannot brag about trading conditions. The leverage goes against regulatory rules while the spread is undisclosed.

Leverage And Spreads – No Access To Data

The only thing we know is that this company offers spread from 1:100 to 1:500. However, regulators in the EU have set a limit of 1:30 for the Forex market and 1:2 for crypto. Therefore, Crypt Node goes against regulations. Other than that, we have no access to information about the spread or any fees or commissions you may be charged.

Crypt Node Deposit, Withdrawal Methods, and Fees

Allegedly, the company accepts only debit/credit cards. However, they’re using an unknown payment process – financeonline, belonging to a third party.
