What About Invest Flow Regulation?
While claiming to have an office in the Netherlands, the truth is that InvestFlow is nothing but an offshore scheme. The brand is owned by Seabreeze Partners Ltd from the Commonwealth of Dominica. This company is well-known in trading circles for owning several scam brands, including ProfitAssist, IGFB, MaxiPlus, SimpleWay, etc. Seabreeze Partners Ltd has been under the direct investigation of German BaFin for all the brands and schemes they attempt on German citizens.
Why Must a Broker Have a License?
A broker must have a license to provide a guarantee for your funds. It’s the only way to ensure that you won’t be scammed and lose everything if the firm loses its capital or disappears.
Since we’ve already explained who is behind the InvestFlow scam, we believe it’s clear that this firm has no offshore nor a Tier1 regulation and operates illegally.
Invest Flow Warnings From Financial Regulators
After many complaints, several regulators issued official warnings against Invest Flow.
Italian CONSOB placed the broker on the list of fraudulent domains and warned citizens not to get involved.
Spanish CNMV stated that the company provides unauthorized trading services, including Forex trading and financial advising.
Belgian FSMA and Danish DFSA republished the Spanish warning.
Traders Reviews About Invest Flow Scam
Another reason why Invest Flow shut down its domain is negative reviews and clients’ complaints. The firm has a rating of 2.3 on Trustpilot, being marked as poor. Here’s just one example:
“Never trust this scam company! They will convince you that here the reviews are from their opponents! I trusted them and I regret it ! I lost 1600£ ! Never, never trust this scam company NO MATTER WHAT ! Don’t do the mistake which I did!!!”– Trustpilot Customer
Supported Trading Platforms – Available Trading Software
InvestFlow offered quite a solid choice – MT4 and WebTrader. While WebTrader is solid for beginners and has fewer charts and indicators, MT4 is considered an industry standard. It’s a classy platform with a vast number of trading tools and a preferred choice of 87% of market investors.
This all would be terrific if the broker wasn’t unregulated and if it didn’t provide unregulated trading conditions such as high leverage.
Everything About Invest Flow Accounts
InvestFlow offered 4 account types, including:
- Basic – $250
- Trader – $1,000
- Business – $10,000
- Corporate – $100,000
The main difference was in the number of trading assets, starting spread, leverage, and trading signals.
Invest Flow Range of Trading Instruments & Markets
Customers had access to:
- Currency pairs
There were no cryptocurrencies, which can be considered a significant disadvantage.
Invest Flow Leverage
InvestFlow offered unregulated leverage for the Basic account type, up to 1:100. With each account, the leverage is lower, getting to 1:25 for the Corporate account. It’s pretty odd to offer the highest leverage with the minimum deposit since we all know leverage increases buying power and severely impacts risks. So, those with the smallest capital are put at the highest risk.
Scam Trading Bonuses and Large Fees
Invest Flow offered bonuses with a clause that clients have to execute a minimum of 25 times the bonus plus deposit amount before being able to withdraw their funds. Furthermore, the spread started at 2.5 pips, increasing the trade commission.
The company was charging high withdrawal fees, but they never mentioned anything about deposits.
Invest Flow Deposit and Withdrawal Methods
The firm accepted the following payment methods:
- Debit/credit cards
- Wire transfer
The minimum deposit was $250, while the minimum withdrawal amount was not specified.
