Is TheBTCPro a Legitimate Trading Broker?
TheBTCPro is basically an anonymous website, which does not mention the legal entity that runs the brokerage. All the website mentions is a UK address.
If TheBTCPro says to be based in the UK, the broker would have to be registered with the local Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We checked the FCA’s register but did not find any such entity.

Therefore, TheBTCPro is unregulated, i.e. illicit! What about the whole Crypto Conduct Authority (CCA) certification? You may as well disregard this dubious document as the CCA is not a credible financial market regulator like the FCA.
In the UK, the FCA is the only law. Brokers over there are required to possess a minimum operating capital of 730,000 GBP. Furthermore, they must provide clients with negative balance protection, segregated funds, leverage restriction (1:30) for safer trading, and a compensation scheme worth up to 85,000 GBP.
You will not get these benefits with fraudulent brokers such as TheBTCPro or River Prime. Please avoid these and opt for providers regulated by top-tier authorities such as the aforementioned FCA, ASIC (Australia), CySEC (Cyprus), CFTC (US), IIROC (Canada), etc.
TheBTCPro Reviews and Comments
At the time of this writing, TheBTCPro had a total of 86 reviews with an average score of 3.7 (average) on Trustpilot. Pretty mediocre for a brokerage. However, there are multiple complaints against the broker.
Several traders have expressed their frustrations caused by withdrawal issues, an ineffective platform, poor customer service, and a persistent approach to clients. Here’s what traders have complained about.
I recently tried using this source and was extremely disappointed with my experience. This platform was clunky and difficult to navigate and I found it hard to execute trades quickly. The customer service was also lacking when I reached out for help…

Where Does the Broker Operate? – Countries of Service
TheBTCPro mainly provided services in three countries. After some research and reading complaints, we compiled the list of countries:
- United Kingdom;
- Spain;
- India.
As mentioned, TheBTCPro is not authorized by the FCA to provide services in the UK. And if you look at what the broker offers, you’ll see that it is not compliant with the regulations of ESMA, the European financial authority that regulates the EEA zone, of which Spain is a part. TheBTCPro also does not adhere to India’s regulations.
How Does TheBTCPro Scam Work?
TheBTCPro scam works like most trading schemes such as Blackchain Solution. An anonymous website with enticing content is there to lure traders to invest.
The minimum deposit is set really high and the scam broker intends to embezzle these funds. Once the trader invests these funds, TheBTCPro will offer a poor trading platform, probably rigged.
Once the scammer steals the money, there will be withdrawal issues. Please avoid dealing with TheBTCPro trading scam.
TheBTCPro Supported Trading Platform – Available Trading Software
According to the broker’s website, traders are promised a web-based platform. Online trading terminals are generally ineffective and unpolished.
They feature elementary tools such as graphs, indicators and charts but no advanced options. Judging by client complaints, TheBTCPro’s WebTrader is full of fallacies and bugs. The platform’s max leverage is 1:200, which is proof that TheBTCPro is not a UK brokerage since the FCA imposed a 1:30 leverage cap for UK brokers.
TheBTCPro does not support valid third-party trading software such as MT4, MT5, SiriX, or cTrader.
Choice Of Trading Accounts
Let’s make an overview of the available trading account types:
- Bronze – 10,000 EUR;
- Silver – 25,000 EUR;
- Gold – 50,000 EUR;
- Platinum – 100,000 EUR;
- Diamond – 250,000 EUR;
- Premium – 500,000 EUR;
- VIP – 1,000,000 EUR.
These accounts supposedly come with numerous perks but it is all irrelevant considering how expensive they are. Imagine having to pay 10,000 EUR just to start trading.
To make matters worse, there is no demo account for testing out the trading platform. There are many legit and licensed brokers that will allow you to open a Micro account for just 10 $.
Withdrawing Profits From Your Broker Account
Based on the information TheBTCPro gave in the FAQ section, the available payment methods include:
- Credit/debit cards;
- Wire transfers;
- E-wallets (PayPal, Skrill);
- Crypto.
The minimum deposit is a staggering 10,000 EUR. The deposit & withdrawal fees are unknown, and TheBTCPro’s withdrawal policy is misleading and vague. The whole legal documentation is vague and not very transparent.
