Is InvestFW a Regulated Brokerage Firm?
To sum it up, yes. The parent company, iTrade Global has a CySEC license (298/16). However, not all regulations are insurance that everything is clean. Especially, when you take a closer look at any InvestFW review. That’s why traders prefer Tier 1 regulators like FCA, BaFin and ASIC. On the negative side, InvestFW trading company is not regulated by any of those.
Moreover, all brokers from Cyprus have Investor Compensation fund membership. However, clients can get only up to 20.000 EUR compensation. For example, with FCA person is eligible for 85.000 GBP compensation.
Besides regulations, there is nothing attractive about InvestFW broker. They don’t offer a competitive trading platform or trading conditions.
InvestFW Trading Software – Is MetaTrader 4&5 Available?
Generally speaking, the trading platform is second in the priority queue. A stable and reliable platform is key to trading success. That’s why traders look for advanced features and trading options. However, there are only a few trusted platforms. Some of those are MetaTrader and cTrader. On the contrary, the InvestFW broker doesn’t provide any of those.
They have only a web-based trading platform without any advanced tools. For a licensed broker we were expecting much more. However, this is not enough for some pro traders.
Mobile Apps For Android and IOS
Even bigger disappointment comes with their mobile app. Even though it is available on all mobile devices, it doesn’t provide all features. Simply, because it’s still a web-based platform. Traders that prefer social or copy trading, automated options and more can’t find it here.
InvestFW’s Trading Assets and Instruments
Like many other companies, they don’t provide any special assets for trading. They are limited to 5 major financial classes. Some of the instruments are:
- Forex EUR/NOK, AUD/NZD, CAD/USD
- Commodities oil, platinum, natural gas
- Indices UK100, SPA35, DE30
- Shares McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Tesla
- Cryptocurrencies BTC, ADA, BNB
Important to realize is that spread starts at 6.9 pips for basic account. Which is way above the industry average of 1.5 pips.
InvestFW Broker’s Active Locations
In general, this broker shouldn’t provide their services to some countries like the US, Canada or Japan. Mostly, it is due to the strict regulations these countries have.
However, InvestFW broker operates in the following countries:
Some traders were not happy with the service provided by the InvestFW broker, as can be seen in some reviews.
On top of that, we seriously recommend you not to invest in the fake brokers RoboMarkets, ThinkMarkets, and Blackbull Markets. Do not trade with these unlicensed brokers if you want to save your money!
InvestFW List of Account Types
Above all, this broker is quite mysterious about their account types. Even though they are presented, it remains unknown what the benefits of each account are. After all, those accounts are:
Not only that trading conditions are unknown, but also the minimum deposit requirements. Unfortunately, this broker doesn’t offer an Islamic account with swap-free conditions.
Can a Trader Use a Demo Account?
On the positive side, this broker allows traders to check the platform with a demo account. This way you can make an informed decision should you invest or not.
However, a demo account doesn’t present a realistic picture of trading. That’s why Tier 1 licensed brokers have available micro-accounts. Those start at $10, with the same trading conditions as any other real account.
About InvestFW Terms and Conditions
There are many discrepancies that are not usual for a licensed broker. Even though InvestFW advertises many different and trusted payment options, only a few are available. Moreover, they claim not to have any deposit fees. However, T&Cs reveal that the broker may charge a 3% fee with an additional 0.25 cents fee.
Some of the methods are:
- Cards – Visa/Master/Maestro
When it comes to withdrawals, clients might be charged for any fees related to withdrawals. Although, this is a regulated broker, some traders experienced issues with withdrawals. This is not common behavior for a licensed firm.
Leverage, Spreads and Fees
On the positive side, leverage goes maximum up to 1:30, which complies with ESMA rules for trading in the EEA Zone. However, some Tier 1 regulated brokers limit their leverage for assets up to 1:5 for clients’ safety. Moreover, InvestFW offers very high spreads. Especially for a standard account. So, to get better spreads clients need to deposit more money.
As for fees, the broker doesn’t reveal any commissions. After all, overnight swaps and inactivity fees should be available to traders. That’s why many traders prefer Tier 1 regulated brokers with more transparent conditions.
What Should I Do If I Have InvestFW Problem?
